Richard is an internationally recognised clinical anatomist who is known for his award winning teaching and his ability to think differently. He holds several high level positions including Professor and Head of Clinical Anatomy and Imaging at Warwick Medical School, Lead for Applied Surgical Anatomy at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Director of Clinical Anatomy Education for the West Midlands Surgical Training Centre and co-Director of Stribe Ltd. His experience spans medical and surgical education and course design, assessment and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

R. Shane Tubbs

Dr. R. Shane Tubbs is a clinical anatomist and researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery, Tulane University Medical School, New Orleans, Louisiana. His research focus has been on the so-called “reverse translational anatomy research” where clinical problems are identified and solved with anatomical studies. This investigative paradigm as resulted in over 1,600 peer reviewed publications in the anatomical sciences. Dr. Tubbs has authored and edited over 40 books and is the editor-in-chief of the journal Clinical Anatomy. His recent editorial roles include the 42st edition of Gray’s Anatomy and the 7th edition of Netter’s Atlas of Human Anatomy.
