Dr. T. V.N. (Vid) Persaud, Professor Emeritus, Dept. of Human Anatomy and Cell Science, University of Manitoba – received the 2010 Henry Gray/Elsevier Distinguished Educator Award, American Association of Anatomists highest award for human anatomy education. Dr. Persaud was formerly Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Manitoba. He is also recipient the J.C.B. Grant Award of the Canadian Association of Anatomists, and the Honored Member Award of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists. Dr. Persaud is now a Visiting Professor at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada where he teaches gross anatomy and embryology.
